INT. GIACOMO HOSPITAL – BREAK ROOM – ROME – MORNING

FRANCO FRANCISCO (50s, meticulous, brilliant but weary) finishes chart notes. His phone buzzes. Unknown number.

VOICE (PHONE, DEEP, GRUFF) 
Good morning, Señor Francisco. Patent Office. We've reviewed your application... missing diagrams. Any working model?

FRANCO (guarded) 
I’ve supplied what any capable engineer would need. Isn’t that enough?

VOICE 
Is that all you wish to share?

FRANCO 
Depends. What are you implying?

VOICE 
Do you have everything... or would help accelerate your progress?

Beat.

FRANCO 
What kind of help?

VOICE 
Let’s meet. Are you free?

Franco freezes. He’s been contacted at work. How did they know?

VOICE (CONT'D) 
Lunch. Piazza della Liberta. Across the Margherita crossing. Branziarro Restaurant. I’ll be in a white hat.

EXT. PIAZZA DELLA LIBERTA – ROME – LUNCHTIME

Franco exits a taxi. Sun gleams off wet stone. He spots ROBERTO FERRARA (60s, silver-haired, sharp suit, white hat), seated with a silver-banded cane.

FERRARA 
Roberto Ferrara. At your service.

They shake hands and sit. A waiter appears.

FERRARA (TO WAITER) 
Two house specials. A martini. And a cola with cane sugar, for my guest.

INT. BRAZIARRO RESTAURANT – CONTINUOUS

The waiter sets cutlery and glasses.

FERRARA 
Let’s cut to it. We want to fund your invention. You lack time... resources.

Franco listens, cautious.

FERRARA (CONT'D) 
You need a lab. Space. Backing. If we bankroll this—will you leave the hospital?

FRANCO 
I’d need full control.

FERRARA 
Naturally. And — forgive me — assuming you’ve no unbreakable ties here?

Franco shifts, uneasy.

FRANCO 
Go on.

FERRARA 
Would you relocate... to a facility overseas?

Before Franco replies, the WAITER arrives.

WAITER 
Spaghetti alla bolognese. Signori.

He places dishes with flair. Parmesan grinder. Bow. Departing with pride.

INT. RESTAURANT – MOMENTS LATER

Franco studies the steaming pasta, then Ferrara.

FRANCO 
I'd have my own lab?

FERRARA 
State-of-the-art. No expense spared. Secure apartment. Staff. Privacy.

Franco lifts his glass. Ferrara meets it. Clink.

FRANCO 
Where?

FERRARA 
Brazil. Paradise.

Franco sighs — relief mixed with awe.

FERRARA (CONT'D) 
But — one condition. Withdraw the patent.

Franco frowns.

FRANCO 
Why?

FERRARA 
The giants will crush you. Legal warfare. Better you stay hidden until you're ready.

Franco nods slowly.

FRANCO 
I’ve considered that. Alright. Agreed.

They shake hands.

NARRATION (FRANCO – V.O.): 
It was the moment everything shifted. Speed. Ethics. Control. And perhaps... consequence.

BRAIN CONDITIONING - You can imagine the excitement in the laboratory as Franco Francisco and Klaus von Kolreuter realise their dream of digitally recreating the most famous woman in history. Using clever synaptic sequencing algorithms and selected memory implants, they work through several nights to make sure that the replicated Cleopatra, knows about her past, but is also as prepared as possible to function in a modern world. 

MORAL DILEMMA

INT. FRANCO’S LAB, BRAZIL – NIGHT

Franco FRANCISCO (50s), brilliant but troubled, paces through a sleek, futuristic lab. Machines hum. Screens flicker with complex genetic data.

He stops, gazing at a holographic image—an embryo forming via synthetic DNA.

FRANCO (V.O.)
Life from nothing... But is it life? Is it right?

CUT TO:

INT. FRANCO’S AMAZONIAN VILLA – NIGHT

Franco lies in bed, restless. Surrounded by opulence—marble floors, shimmering chandeliers—but his eyes betray deep unease.

FRANCO (V.O.)
All of this... the equipment, the people. And yet... we're playing gods.

He closes his eyes.

DREAM SEQUENCE

INT. DUAT GRAND ANCIENT HALL – DREAM REALM

Torchlit, mysterious. Walls inscribed with glowing hieroglyphics.

ANUBIS, jackal-headed god, steps from the shadows. Towering, regal, ageless.

ANUBIS
Franco Francisco. Your work stands at the edge of greatness.
Humanity twists the veil between life and death. And you hold the key.

Franco stares, overwhelmed.

FRANCO
But... should we? Should I?

ANUBIS
The cosmos bends toward progress. Your doubts are wise.
But your invention will shape a new destiny.

The vision fades.

CUT TO:

INT. FRANCO’S VILLA – NIGHT

Franco jolts awake, sweating. Haunted, electrified.

LATER THAT WEEK

INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT

Another dream claims Franco.

DREAM SEQUENCE

INT. CELESTIAL GARDEN – DREAM REALM

Moonlight spills over an endless lake. ISIS, radiant and serene, rises from silver mist.

ISIS
Your pain led you here. Your brilliance will lead others.
You honor the ones you've lost.

Franco kneels, moved.

FRANCO
I lost my family... and nearly myself.

ISIS
Then let your work be rebirth. Let sorrow seed hope.

Franco wakes again—this time, changed.

MONTAGE – FRANCO’S RESEARCH

—Franco adjusting shimmering DNA strands via holotouch.

—Lab techs observing bio-reactors.

—Digital renderings of ancient Egyptian symbology merging with biotech.

FRANCO (V.O.)
They came to me. They saw meaning in the madness.
I no longer fear the edge. I pursue it.

CUT TO:

EXT. THE UNDERWORLD – COSMIC VOID

A hauntingly beautiful space. Anubis and Isis float above Earth, watching.

ANUBIS
Franco is ready. He carries the future within him.

ISIS
And Cleopatra... her return nears. We’ve nurtured her soul. Guided her path.

ANUBIS
She will rise—not from tombs, but from code. The Duat yields her.

The gods lock eyes. A celestial pact reaffirmed.

ISIS
Humanity evolves. Life and death no longer stand apart.
It is time.

ENIGMA - The birth of computers at Bletchley Park under Alan Turing, and his visits from Anubis and Isis, who see the potential in his ideas.

SYDNEY WILL READING - John's uncle Douglas vanished, declared dead, the adventurer inherits keys and a note from George Franks.

ANGEL OF DEATH - Anubis and Isis occupy Josef Mengele's and Adolf Hitler's subconscious as spirits steering their legacies.

INNER CIRCLE OF SIX - Joseph Mengele's Fourth Reich plans an escape to Brazil to develop Nazi-funded human research laboratories.

NELSON BAY - John visits the coordinates George gave him, to discover the Elizabeth Swann, ARK and Hal, AI computer.

BRAZIL BOUND - Doctor Death bargains for funding and logistics of relocation to Amazon South American base via Argentina.

NEW WORLD ORDER - A former Neo-Nazi plan to regenerate Aryan supremacy, develops into a cause for good.

REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE - Having reached the end of his PhD, William and Jane Bates have epiphanies, Will should follow his dream.

WASHING MACHINE - Inventor Franco Francisco comes up with the Incubus, artificial uterus concept while repairing his household appliance.

EXIT STRATEGY - Realising they will always be a target from industrial and military espionage, Jane & Will devise a cunning plan.

CYBERCORE GENETICA - Nano computer technology is purchased at an auction by a semi religious sect, New World Order.

INCUBUS - Roberta Ferrara secures the expertise of Franco Francisco for knights of the New World Order: Neuwelt Rittertum.

SPLICE - Klaus and Eva von Kolreuter find a way to live forever using cloning technology; Genonimo Investments, Geneva.

TREMORS - Cleopatra's feels vibrations after a shift in the tectonic plates triggered a tremor off the coast of Alexandria.

PANAMANIAN RUNNING MAN - The secret is out, an enhanced human is spotted running at unbelievable speeds.

THE ARK - NeuWelt Rittertum headhunt John Storm seeking access to his genetic DNA map of life on earth, but they fail to reach agreement.

MARJORIE BOYLE - Sam Hollis tracks down sexy backpacker, Majorie Boyle, to Brighton Point in Trinidad, beautiful Caribbean Island.

THE AMAZON - Charley agrees to meet John & Dan at Manaus, but is a little too inquisitive.

UNESCO - Catholic Church fear grave desecration heritage theft, asks agencies for help. Interpol issue Red Notice.

KIDNAP - Charley is taken prisoner but John rescues her, in the process becoming injected with a serum.

SARCOPHAGUS OPENING - The wooden inner casket is opened revealing Cleopatra's mummy, golden crown and death mask, perfectly preserved.

AWAKENING - In the afterlife, the DNA extracted from Cleopatra's mummy triggers a divine stirring with Anubis and Isis comforting the Nile Queen.

REPLICANT - The Society reproduce Cleopatra using Francisco's RepliVator™, uploading synapse sequence and implanted memories.

BRAIN CONDITIONING - Klaus and Franco upload digitally recreated memories in historical order to trigger correct learned synapse firing sequence

REBORN - The former Queen of Egypt speaks for the first time to her creators, proving that her brain is working, the implants succeeded.

FULL STEAM AHEAD - Storm speeds to Thonis, then uses the Swann's AI sensors and the Ark database to find tomb has been plundered.

PROPOSAL - Baron von Richhofen's gambit, a union of Royal ancient and Aryan blood, for strength and intellect, a powerful heir as her successor

RITUAL SACRIFICE - The Baron prepares Cleopatra for ceremonial impregnation, but Anubis and Isis know the man with a solar boat cometh.

MANAUS TO ALEXANDRIA - A hydrogen powered race across the Atlantic Ocean in nine days, John Storm guided by Anubis and Isis.

SANCTUM INTERRUPTUS - John finds secret Nazi hideout near Alexandria, disturbs ritual - rescues Cleopatra, arresting conspirators.

THE CHOSEN ONE - The reincarnated Cleopatra falls for her rescuer. John comes under her spell, despite her being a replicant.

JESUS CHRIST - Cleopatra asks about this man. John, Dan & Hal explain he is an ancient religious preacher from Galilee, son of Yahweh, Hebrew god.

BIOCORE BRAIN IMPLANT - Dan and Cleopatra drill John's skull, occipital bone implanting biological chip to interface with CyberCore Genetica.
