the AI onboard the Elizabeth
Swann, agree that Cleopatra is entombed underwater in
her former Palace at Alexandria.
In this scene
John
and Dan
load up the Elizabeth Swann with food and other supplies in London, then make their way through
the English
Channel and across the Atlantic,
as fast as they can, but then get caught up in a magnetic storm when
passing by the Bermuda Triangle, worrying Dan, who is superstitious.
Having
passed through the Atlantic storm, the Elizabeth Swann
and crew travels upriver to Manaus, docking to
one side of the main terminal, such as to reduce their
profile - impossible of course in such an unusual boat, on a
river like the Amazon.
Charley Temple (camerawoman)
has been on site waiting, but impatiently decides to begin
looking for the suspected Neo-Nazi camp, laboratories, or para-military
buildings. Charley makes her way upriver
and inland searching for clues. She speaks to natives who
are evasive. Finally, a young girl gives her directions for
a chocolate bar. Hence, where John and Dan
expect to meet Charley, she is not there.
Dan
and John are set to rendezvous with Jack Mason from the CIA
once they have located the suspect camp. They track her path
through dense flora, where Hal advises she is 1,200 meters
north west.
